A partner in the firm, Karen Strom Talley, began her legal career with Perry Henson, Jr. Trained by Perry Henson, Jr. to develop her skill and understanding of the law in the same way Perry's father had trained him thirty years before, Karen has become a respected member of the legal community in her own right.

Karen received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a major in English and a minor in Music.  Karen received her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with Honors.  While a law student, Karen served as an articles editor on the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation, and participated in the legal clinic, representing juveniles in the criminal court of Durham County.

Karen was born in Flushing, New York, and lived in New Jersey before moving to Greensboro with her parents and siblings.  After graduating from law school, Karen returned to Greensboro, where she married her college sweetheart, David, a teacher for the Guilford County Schools.  Karen is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the North Carolina Bar Association, Greensboro Bar Association, and the Guilford Inn of Court.

In addition to helping her clients, Karen enjoys spending time with her friends and family in Greensboro, including her husband, and her new nephew, Will.  Whenever Karen can find a spare moment, she will usually be seen reading, as it is her favorite pastime.  She also enjoys running and gardening with her husband.
