Greensboro, North Carolina
The senior partner in the firm, Perry C. Henson, Jr., is an experienced trial attorney who has been practicing law for thirty years. Perry was schooled in the practice of law by an excellent lawyer and teacher of young lawyers, his father, Perry C. Henson, Sr., who practiced law for nearly fifty years in Greensboro, North Carolina. Like his father, Perry Henson, Jr. is respected throughout the state for his skill, thorough understanding of the law, and professionalism. Also like his father before him, Perry Henson, Jr., is an excellent teacher of young lawyers and has personally trained the other members of the firm so that they too can display the same diligence and skill as he has done. A double-Tarheel, Perry received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While a law student, Perry was a member of the Mock Trial Team, which team advanced to the National Quarterfinals. He was also a member of the Holderness Moot Court Bench, and the Order of Barristers. Upon his graduation from law school, Perry jumped into the practice of law, working with his father and becoming a highly respected member of the legal community. He is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the North Carolina Bar Association, the Greensboro Bar Association, and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. Perry has handled a staggering variety of cases since he began to practice law thirty years ago, ranging from motor vehicle collisions to racketeering cases, to admiralty and shipping cases. He has tried hundreds of cases, but has also been able to resolve countless others without the need for a trial. Although Perry has practiced throughout North Carolina, he has lived all his life in Greensboro (except for the wonderful 7 years he spent at school in Chapel Hill). He cares about his hometown, and is a life member of the Greensboro Jaycees. When not representing clients, Perry enjoys playing golf with his friends, watching Carolina play basketball (and, hopefully, win), and spending time with his wife, Linda, his children, and his dog, Izzy.
